    A roadmap for change, with 5 mileposts + A module for each milepost, and each module will have:

    Clear objectives so you confidently know what you are aiming for.

    Measurable success criteria to know when you’ve arrived at the milepost (in other words you know when this module is done).

    Activities. Here’s where we get serious. Actions, templates, checklists, cheat sheets, Q&As – all printable, presentable, nice and polished!

    SUCCESS CRITERIA:

    • Team has a name?
    • Confluence space created?
    • Agile Delivery Manager accepted the role?
    • Product owner accepted the role?

    MILESTONE 3 – KICK-OFF WORK

    OBJECTIVES:

    • Team is ready to work
    • To have a ready Backlog
    • [1-2 weeks]

    SUCCESS CRITERIA:

    • Jira ticket created?
    • Physical wall created?
    • Scrum sessions booked?
    • Team lunch?

    MILESTONE 4 – SET THE RHYTHM

    OBJECTIVES:

    • To gain a consistent cadence
    • [3 sprints = 6 weeks]

    SUCCESS CRITERIA:

    • Sprint review is demo of working software?
    • Retro feedbacks are captured in confluence?
    • Physical wall is alive?
    • A 2-pager report on confluence?

    MILESTONE 5 – ENHANCE THE FLOW

    OBJECTIVES:

    • To demonstrate maturity in adoption
    • To gain transparency on velocity
    • [4 sprints = 8 weeks]

    SUCCESS CRITERIA:

    • The velocity report is normalised
    • The radar is fuller

    MILESTONE 6 – LEAD SUCCESS (A CASE)

    OBJECTIVES:

    • [Internal] To have a track record of leading change
    • [External] To have a case with measurable success

    SUCCESS CRITERIA:

    • To have a blog post?
    • To have a presentation to the board?
    • To have a celebratory drink?

    Wouldn’t it be nice to have new knowledge uploaded to our brains like in the Matrix, when Trinity asks Tank to upgrade programs in her brain so she can fly a helicopter? But until that technology is invented we will have to rely on the traditional way.

    There is only one and one reason only I go to Facebook, and that’s when I do a Facebook Live event and a Q&A session.

    This helps me to answer your specific questions – questions about you and your company and what you are dealing with RIGHT NOW. Let’s face it, millennials live and breathe on Facebook, so surely we can use it to connect and ask (and answer!) a few questions.

    Your case is different. Your companies are different. As are your products, your clients, your people. And there is no program that can cover all the cases.

    Although the principles, milestones, and metrics are the same, the actions you take will be different. Sometimes the ‘order’ of implementation might be slightly different. You can trust your judgement on those occasions. This program gives you all the activities you need to complete, in a logical order.
